Reflection from Session on Planning, implementing & sustaining a blended learning program

During this workshop, the presenters shared that the 4 emerging models of blended learning:

But no matter what models we adopt, for blended learning to be successful, they added that there are 6 elements involved with the top 3 as the most important:
  • Leadership
  • Professional Development
  • Teaching/Instructional Practice
  • Operations/Admin Systems/Policy
  • Content
  • Technology
Reflecting on our programmes at ETD, we have definitely designed our programmes focussing on the top 3 areas: using TPACK as our design framework, we conducted differentiated PD for the different groups of people, e.g. LETP for school leaders; LAMP+ for key personnel; ICT mentors programmes for teachers. We are definitely on the right track. May we continue with the good work and hopefully one day we can share our suite of programmes with everyone else in the world. ;)
